Here's just a small glimpse of how we serve the community of Wherry Housing.

The KId's center

Our free after school program is offered Monday through Friday from 2:45pm to 4:45pm. Kids get homework help, play group games, make new friends, eat snacks, and learn about Jesus.

*After school program schedule follows the Rutherford County Academic Calendar.

We are always in need of healthy snacks for the children in our program.

Wherry work days

Wherry Work Days happens four times a year from 8AM to noon. People from different ministries, groups and backgrounds join together to help better the community through various projects. These work days are open to everyone and all skill levels are welcome. These service days are a great time to serve with your family, small group, or co-workers.

Clothing Closet

We distribute gently used clothing donations throughout the community.

We provide a place for our community to come and receive clothing for every season. Our volunteers help pick up clothing donations, help sort, fold, and hang clothes, as well as serve the incoming clients.

Open: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9 am - noon.

Our closet is located at 121 Claeborne Drive, Unit A, Smyrna, TN 37167.

SENIOR ADULT OUTREACH

Every other month we gather with the senior adults in our community and have a time of fellowship and fun. Dates for each event are listed on the volunteer form under the Senior Adult section.
