Community Servants, Inc. offers Adult Education classes in Wherry Housing Cooperative. In the 2009/2010 school year we have had over 150 students enrolled.
ESOL is our most populated adult education class. Community Servants, over the last 9 years, has assisted over 1200 people from several nations around the world to better their English skills. In addition to our classes on site, we also have a satellite site which teaches ESOL to more than 100 refugees from Burma. All the classes are taught by volunteers.
GED Preparation classes are taught two days per week.
Parenting Classes are another new class offered free by Community Servants. This is a 8 week program. Beginning in 2009, Community Servants will offer this class on a continuous, year round basis. Students ill be able to begin at any point in the cycle, and students who have to miss a class can make it up during the next cycle.
